It is a gram negative, free living bacteria that fixes atmospheric nitrogen to plants. It synthesizes phytohormones, in particular, indole-3-acetic acid, and is supposed to increase abiotic and biotic stress tolerance capacity thereby assisting the plant growth.

Benefits:

  • Saves around 50Kg of urea per ha
  • Improves soil fertility
  • Increases crop yield

Applicability: It is a liquid compound, suitable for wide range of crops like cereals, pulses and vegetables and applied through spraying as well as fertigation.
Application: Seed treatment: Nitrogenous biofertilizer is mixed with water and seeds are dipped in the solution for about 20 minutes. The treated seeds are then sowed for better yield.
